What God Says About Himself

What God Says About Himself

We thought it would be a fun and illuminating exercise to list many of the verses in the Bible that God says something about Who and What He is – and what He does and doesn’t do. Also, all verses will be ESV unless another version has a better sense of meaning, in which case other versions will be included and noted. Some verses may have notes to enhance the meaning (translation, cultural or historical references).

This is very obviously a work in progress and we will go book by book in order so we don’t duplicate ourselves. You are welcome to add your ideas in the comments and they will be incorporated if we think they are consistent.
